Real Madrid’s stars were in a buoyant mood on Friday as they boarded a private plane bound for the east coast of Spain.
Rafa Benitez’s side face fifth-placed Villarreal on Sunday, as they look to keep pace with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
And the players travelled in style after taking the luxury aircraft for the clash at the Estadio El Madrigal

Defender Sergio Ramos showed off Real’s private plane on Instagram, which has portraits of the stars along the side.
He captioned it: ‘A high flying team.’

Cristiano Ronaldo also took used social media to hint to his followers about the La Liga side’s mode of transport.
He said: ‘Guess what we’re doing????’
In a recent interview, Ronaldo admitted that problems off the pitch had been affecting his form and backed Benitez to carry on as Real manager.

‘It’s not been just personal issues, also physical ones, but I won’t use them as excuses [for my form],’ he admitted.
‘We’re not aliens, I’m not one, and we also go through difficult times, but they’re in the past and now I’m getting better.
‘I feel good with [Benitez]. I think he is doing a good job and should be allowed to continue like this.’
