ADAMAWA LAWMAKERS REFUTED ANY MOVE TO IMPEACH GOV BINDOW
The 25 lawmakers of Adamawa state has yesterday refuted and distance the entire leadership of the house of any move or attempt to impeach Governor Mohammadu Jibrilla Umaru Bindow.
The speaker of the House, Kabiru Mijinyawa on Monday presided over the House plenary said they are not envisioning any impeaching or any plot of such to the governor as impeachment in the past has caused serious underdevelopment in the state.
Some of the lawmakers who spoke during the plenary said the move was aimed at causing confusion and disharmony in the state.
They called on newsmen to crosscheck their facts before going to the press in order not to feed the general public with wrong information.
