The Federal High Court, Abuja, has refused the ex parte motion of Olusegun Abraham, one of the aspirants of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ondo governorship primary election.

Abraham is asking the court to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from accepting Rotimi Akeredolu as APC authentic candidate for the Nov. 28 election.

The judge, Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, said the matter was sensitive in nature, holding that “it will be fair if all parties to the suit are present in court before order is made”.

Dimgba adjourned case till Oct. 28 for hearing.

Prof. George Akinseyi, Counsel to Abraham, joined the APC, Akeredolu and INEC, as defendants in the suit.

Abraham came second in the Sept. 3 primary where the former President of the Nigeria Bar Association, Akeredolu, emerged as the party’s flag.
