Reputed sources are claiming that Liverpool are interested in signing Georginio Wijnaldum for a fee of around £20million. The Dutch international was the lone bright spot in Newcastle's dismal campaign last season, scoring 11 PL goals.
Considering the Reds have seemingly enough attacking options in midfield and were supposedly on the lookout for a player who plays in the deeper midfield role, the move is a bit of a headscratcher for the fans.
