Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as part of its review of the 2019 General elections in the country is reportedly working on a proposal for the alteration of the 1999 Constitution as amended to enable it reduce the number of political parties in the country.  A total of 91 political parties participated in the 2019 general elections, the highest number ever via IFTTT
