Court Puts Restraining Order On Man For Incessantly Phyiscally Assaulting Wife

An Ogudu Magistrates’ Court has restrained Jonathan Emoghase from coming close to his wife for 12 months because of incessant physical assault. Magistrate Olufunke Sule-Amzat said Emoghase would be jailed if he flouted the order.The order was at the instance of his wife, Janet, who lodged a complaint against him through the Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT).DSVT Coordinator via IFTTT
