The Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) has laid off over a 100 contract workers in a bid to rehabilitate its refineries. According to reports on The Punch, NNPC disengaged the services of these workers who were employed on contract basis by five contracting agencies. Kennie Obateru, the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC said the corporation via IFTTT
