Teen Activist Honoured By Gates Foundation For Rejecting Child Marriage

The co-founders of the Gates Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates on Tuesday  September 24,2019 honoured 16 year old Miss Payal Jangid from India with the Change Maker Award .... She was awarded for advocating for the right of the girl child to quality education and calling for the abolition of child marriage after she refused to be married off at the age of 12.She was presented via IFTTT
