A Kano State High Court presided over by Justice Nasiru Saminu has nullified the recent splitting of the Kano Emirate council.  The court ordered Governor Umar Ganduje to maintain the status quo in respect of the interim order issued against the governor on the 10th of this month, stopping him from splitting the Kano Emirate and appointment of new emirs. The court had through the via IFTTT
