A Kenyan woman was jailed by a UK court to 10 years in jail for running two brothels and enslavement. She is said to have enslaved a woman with Romanian citizenship. Together with her husband Martin Carroll, Ann O’Brien splashed out on a loft conversion, ground floor extension, designer kitchen several giant flat screen TVs and even £10,000 (Sh 1.35 million) curtains.
