Atletico Madrid has on Wednesday defeated Marseille 3-0 to win this year’s Europa League final. Marseille were seeking to win the trophy on home soil, as the match was played in Lyon, after reaching the final thanks to a 3-2 aggregate victory over Red Bull Salzburg.
