A woman in Iran has been sentenced to 24 months in prison after allegedly removing her hijab in public.  According to The Guardian, prosecutors claim that she removed the garment on Tehran’s Enghelab Street as a way to “encourage corruption through the removal of the hijab in public.” Though she was sentenced to two years in jail, the common penalty for violating this rule is typically a via IFTTT
